I used to get spam emails from them all the time, sometimes 2-3 a day from different job boards.

It's been a few years since I received one. Did they finally go out of business.

Who are these idiot's anyway. I see nothing published on them offering legit info such as Company history/background, stock price and they feed you a bunch of lies!

The full name of this company is Miracle Appearance Reconditioning Specialist International, Inc. They franchise auto, boat and furniture reconditioning systems. They appear to be a private company with no stock or public offerings. They also claim to be fully licensed by California as a franchise operation, but no license numbers are given.

absolutely stay away from these guys, and by no means give them your SS#. They send you through a lot of bull, then ask for a "deposit". Don't waste one second with these people.

In defense of the company, they are a franchisor, and they require money up front just like any other company that offers a franchise.
The problem here is that they don't always make that clear, and they spam the crap out of job board posters. Certainly not a bogus company, but I don't think they are what job seekers are usually looking for either.

If this is a franchise I'm curious how they can promise a $60K salary? Sounds like more promise than reality

They don't offer a 50K base....they can't....they don't pay you...you find work for them and pay yourself while paying them money just like a franchisee, except you can't make that kind of money....the market's locked up and dealers won't hire you to "clean" their cars. They pay illegal immigrants $5/hr to do this. this is not a job, it's a complete scam. Stay away from them.

You are not CLEANING cars like illeagals - you are reconditioning cars - fixing scratches, tears, dings, dents, etc. This IS a skillset - not an unskilled labor job, and YES - dealers DO and will pay third parties to do this highly skilled job - I know - I worked at several dealerships where there was always a recon guy with his tent set up in the back - simetimes a whole team - For the recod, I agree that these guys seemingly trick you into the deposit, and that is NOT clear upfront when you start out - but get your facts straight before you open your mouth about something you know nothing about!

If you are looking for a position with Mars International, please really consider some other source. I fell for these guys, invested my retirement after being fed all kinds of stories about training, support and advertising. After a couple of years paying these guys 12 per cent, they did not even come close to assisting the reps in making it sucessful. If you ask for advertising in your area, don't count on it, they have a committee made up of those who are favored in the eyes of the company that will not send any help your way. You pay for support, and frequently you will find that no one is avaiable expect a secretary who has no clue on how to assist. Currently there is a major lawsuit against the company with numerous reps, including the very successful operators filing suit. The federal trade commission is looking at the illegal practices of the company. You are better off with finding a couple of things that you can do well, have someone who is reputable teach you and you could make a better living than sending your money to a greedy company that only protects its own interest. Oh did I mention if you are not successful and continue to pay the company despite the fact they do not follow their obligations in the legal contracts, they will file suit against you, take your equipment that you have paid for and put you out of business. This is not to mention that they oversell your area so you cannot be sucessful. KEEP YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKET, dont believe a word about making 60,000 a year.

I am so glad I went in and googled this company's MO. This sounds just as bad as the info I pulled up about FDRS and they hide the real facts and try to convince you to continue their program and see the results in the end.
