ConsultUSA - Pittsburgh, PASubmitted by drewzhrodague on Mon, 2007-04-09 09:02.

This is simply not true. ConsultUSA is the Only Company in Pittsburgh that employs Consultants, full time, with 75% paid benefits, bench time and 100% paid training. They promise stability and career development. They invest in their people and their clients! The owner of this company has sued several people in Pittbsurgh and lost over a non-compete. He puts this non-compete in a contractor's contract and you don't even know it. Then when you finish your contract that he made about a 30% markup on, you try and go to another consulting company and he throws the non-compete at you and tells you he will sue you if you leave.Terrible way to do business and I would't recommend them to ANYONE! Check your contracts before you sign anything with this company...... I have worked for ConsultUSA for 10 years, and can say they are a highly reputable National IT staffing company that was started by a person of the highest ethics and standards who is making a difference in Pittsburgh. Their reputation is based on consistantly doing the right thing and caring more about their staff than other IT companies. How many companies require and pay for a new certification and training each year, and when you assignment is over they pay you until they find you your next assignment???? ConsultUSA does! The 2 comments made in this forum are obviously situations where good people truely feel they were wronged, however, like all stories there is always another perspective which is not presented here. Everyone makes mistakes, both companies and candidates, however, I can assure you that if you are represented/employed by ConsultUSA you will be treated fairly and with professionalism. |

They will offer you a full time position but actually you’ll work as a contractor with a salary less than contractor’s about %20. Some kind of trick…
Be careful if you want to give them any references for employment verification purposes or background check procedure, because they’ll call your current employer right away , even if you asked them not to, putting your down which could be result in getting yourself fired from the current position. Beware!!!
