Description :
Candidate should possess good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and writing skills. She or he must be able to
interact in a professional, positive, client-focused manner with business users at all levels of the organization.
Candidate should have the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams under general direction and must be
willing to work in a 24 x 7 environment and be part of an on-call rotation. Additionally, she or he will spend 40% to 50%
of their work day completing administrative duties including entering change requests, completing working instructions,
submitting requests for the installation of systems, attending meetings, information gathering and obtaining inventory of
hardware for various projects/tasks. Therefore, candidate must be willing and have the ability to work as an engineer,
project manager, and work along side others in the completion of tasks (both project and non-project related).
Required Skills include :
2+ years Redhat AS & ES Server administration experience, 3+ years Windows 2000 Server administration experience,
experience working in a large distributed Windows NT/2000 & midsizes Redhat Linux environment within the realms of a Change
Management process, proficiency with HP ProLiant server hardware and components, Windows & Linux Clustering Technologies,
Windows NT/2000 & Red Hat Linux Systems Troubleshooting, Windows NT/2000 & Red Hat Linux Systems Performance Optimization
and Monitoring, Windows NT/2000 & Red Hat Linux Systems Fault Tolerance mechanisms, Tape Backup and Restore procedures,
Remote Systems Administration, TCP/IP protocol suite and its utilities, Knowledge of Ethernet topology and a working
knowledge of DNS, DDNS and DHCP.
The following skills/certifications would be considered a plus: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Red Hat or LPI
Certified, experience working under the terms of a Service Level Agreement and in Production Validated environments,
proficiency in Perl or other Windows scripting products, experience with a Relational Database Product (e.g. Oracle or SQL
Server), Web Server Products (e.g. Netscape Enterprise Server, Microsoft Internet Information Server, or Oracle Web
Server), Veritas NetBackup in a Windows NT/2000 environment and VMWare GSX and/or ESX

I called them up seeing a requirement posted by one of the recruiters, where i felt myself to be a great fit. The recruiter said he will call me after he goes thru' my cv. No news. I called him after a few hours to check if he has received it. He says his computer is getting repaired so he cant see his email. then i call him again by 4 PM
You know what i hear...a fellow picking up the phone and saying " NOBODY IJ HERE. CALL LATER" I dialled different extension hoping to get somebody who is a recruiter, but everytime it lands on this fellow's desk and he says I TOLD U NOBUDDY HERE. SOMEBODY WILL CALL LATER.
I understood later that they work from india and its time for them to sleep. Glory to u guys. Not calling u anymore.
