Recruiter-Rater

Don't know if people have been in such a situation. This recruiting agency arranged for an interview with company A which I attended and shortly after (next day) was informed that they were interested in hiring me for a 3 month contract to hire position. The rates were discussed and I also signed the paperwork. Later this recruiting agency informs me that they were not sure of the start date due to some internal organizational changes in the HR dept of Company A (which had been bought over by Company B a few months earlier).

Looking for info/comments/past experiences with Canyon Associates from Woodbridge, NJ. I have had really bad experiences with agencies in the past so I would like to get some more info about them I send them my info.

Primerica is yet-another-insurance-company that spams people on various job boards. Monster.com and Dice.com seem to be their favorite places to harvest victims.
These jokers actually called me instead of emailing me. I have a cell phone as my primary line, so I wasted 3 minutes of my time talking to this goofball.
The caller starts out by telling me he's a recruiter in my area, he's with Primerica Financial Services, and wants to know if I'm familiar with the company. I say yes sarcastically and he launches into a speech, asking if I know about the services that Primerica provides to families. I say yes, and tell him I am *NOT* interested. He gets a little lippy and says thank you and hangs up.

Personally, I think this is not a transgression that can be excused, especially from a company (Citi) that presents a face of being legitimate. Makes me want to never deal with them.
