I am seeking an agency or recruiter who is interested in chipping in for Monster, HotJobs and/or Dice or other resources. Or who currently owns these databases and is open to charging me for access to them at certain times of day. Currently, I work for/with an agency, as an independent contractor. I am seeking to strike out on my own. I would be open to working with another recruiter in a full fledged partnership, or merely in a limited alliance where we can pool resources. I am entrepeunerial, open-minded, ambitious and ethical and would be glad to furnish any interested parties with character and/or professional references.

If you are interested in exploring a mutually beneficial alliance or know someone who might be, please contact me as soon as possible at 646-461-1637 or email me at foxfive@hotmail.com.

Thank You,
Debbie Paget

They have a huge repository of jobs, but I haven't ever been hired as a result of using their services.

I suggest updating your resume every week, even if you only change one charachter -- that will make your resume look like it was updated *that week*. Also, change the name of your resume title. This generates more traffic for your resume.

Thanks, Julie, that was a great post -- lots of jobboards in there. I'll have to put the links in there.

The industry type would probably be a better bet in this case. I've received calls from across the nation regarding local jobs, so I'm not sure how much use an area-based system would be.

Some recruiters only hire locally, and some are national. Most of those that are national have many offices, and it is our goal to list them all here.

If the "area" was the area they typically hire for, not the area they hire from, then it would be useful. I'm guessing a lot of recruiters hire from nationwide searches simply because the HR department of the hiring company may not be located where the job is.
