Mutual of Omaha used to be a fairly well respected company. If you're over 30, you probably remember spending Sunday afternoons watching Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Always a treat, since the rest of the programming schedule consisted of Bowling, Golf, and The Wide World of Sports (Oh, Mr. Agony of Defeat. How many times must you tumble off that slope?)


But, it seems that even Mutual of Omaha is spamming job boards with offers of commision based sales jobs. Now, I'll point out one more time to everyone that thinks that this is an acceptable practice: I very clearly state on ALL my profiles that I do not respond to, and will never consider any position that is financial or insurance sales, is purely commision based, or is "work at home." Never, never, never.


That tells me these companies just blast this out with no regard to whom they are addressing. Oh well. That's why places like Recruiter Rater exist.


I'd put "And, I reserve the right to make fun of you" in my profiles, but that would be very unprofessional of me. I hate having to be responsible sometimes.
